    Why the Fu&k does the UK Company's use Asian Telephone Services... I tell you Why....Why Why....

    They never understand a f&CKING WORD you try to tell them...

    Im currently looking into Virgin Media to switch my Digital TV,BB and Telephone line to save a little cash...

    Why on earth do company's use International Company's to deal with the services they offer....And partly to save my parents some

    Here is what i ordered through Virgin Media...

    Upto 50mg BB Which i will be paying for)
    Land Line
    And Digital tv....

    So after three redirects i eventually got through to the correct department...

    I have just had half an hour of conversation with an Asian women who is clueless to say the least....

    So i have named myself as the account holder to make things easier in the long run... I set the date for installation... And immediately after submitting the date and time,Turns out to be impossible.... I'm in Majorca at the time...

    So 20 minutes later explaining the package i ordered and the date i set were impossible....

    Which where confusingly sorted out as she were hard to understand...

    She asked for the Bill Payer to come one the phone.. (Please note the phone is there for emergency's etc)

    My Answer: He is Deaf and will not be able to talk to you on the phone..

    On the other end: Can you please put the bill payer on the phone so we can do a credit check...

    My Answer: The credit check were already accepted on line and So why do you need to talk to him when a change of installation date is only required... (I know a security issue is involved but damn it i could roll out my dads details without issue)

    On the Other End: Can you please put him on the phone to confirm the details...

    My Answer: I have already said he is Deaf and can not talk on the phone...Im Sorry but why are you not taking notice of what i said already...

    The Account Has been registered under my name and address,And i do not normally have any issue using my dads DD Card online... He is always told before hand..

    On the Other End: Once again the same reply,Now this is seriously sounding like what many people complain about overseas call centers..

    Can you please put (This time round) Her on the phone to confirm the details....

    My Reply: So did i hear you correctly you said "Her"

    On the Other End: Yes Thats correct

    My Reply: Im sorry,You are missunderstood i have not mentioned any womens name anywhere in this conversation..

    And Once again can i assure you the person you are reffering to are D E A F (Deaf) (Had to Spell it out over the phone)

    On the Other End: So can you confirm the Bill Payer is Dead....

    (And BTW why im better on the phone than online so don't take this in the wrong way)

    If it were some one else then it would be funny...

    However im on the receiving end of a company trying to offer the best service for the cheapest rates possible... Which is understanable...

    But if this is the route to cut costs (Call centers outside the uk) is the answer then im sorry... After my last phone call then i will steer clear of Virgin Media's Offers....

    And thats to set up a New Account... God Help how the Tech Support is.

    Im going to try again in the morning to get this issue resolved...Im just a little sorry to my closing comments....

    Sounds like customer service and tech support in the US..... which in reality is nowhere near the US....... rarely in english.


    Not laughing at you man but that last statement is classic.


    How is the bill payer going to pay the bill if they are DEAD????? :rofl:

    I'm sorry you had to go through all that, MIG, it's bad enough speaking to clueless people when they do speak the same language as you, this was awful.

    If you're gonna call Virgin tech support, Keep ANY sharp objects or projectile based weapons as far away from you as you as possible, For your own benefit, nobody elses. Last time mum called V'gin's tech support and i spoke to the clueless dolt on the other end i almost ended up smashing my head against the table with sheer frustration..

    Him : "I understand you want to cancel your account, yes?"
    Me : "FOR THE LAST TIME, I WANT TO SET UP AN EMAIL ACCOUNT, ALL I NEED ARE THE PORT NUMBERS"
    Him : "Oh that is very unfortunate, How may we best dissuade you from doing so good sir?"
    Me : "OH FOR F-." *Hang Up*

    Thats exactly what i ended up doing... So far im going to phone back to night to see if i can get the installation date moved...

    I hope this time around i don't want to here any one trying to sell me the package...

    you guys have it easy, here we dont have such a thing as phone support, coz no one has any knowledge of what the crap they are selling to be able to help any way so most of the time they just tell you they dont know and hang up on you ....

    I was calling Orange Botswana

    Me :i would like to inquire about your mobile phone contracts .
    Person 1: sorry sir can you please call the following number XXXXX
    ...calling the next number ..
    Me: Hi can i please inquire about your mobile phone contracts..
    Person 2: hold on i will transfer you to the correct department....
    Person1:Hello how can I help you ?
    me: i would like to inquire about your mobile phone contract.
    Person 1: aren't you the guy that called a while ago...
    Me: yes
