Hi friends! :) Does anyone here have a Raspberry Pie? Do you actually use it for something useful or fun? The fourth gen looks kind of nice, the SoC looks somewhat capable and the 2GB RAM model seems to me like it could strike a nice balance between the price and being usable, so I'm wondering if I should get one.

I was considering getting the latest one, to use solely as an emulator machine for 80s systems. Not that I need such a thing of course, but it 's nice to have, right? Then I remembered I have no money I can afford to spend on such a thing till at least the current virus crisis ends, so I will have to postpone it. But yes, I would definitely get one .

I just noticed that I wrote "Pie" both in the title and in the post. :D

Yeah, something that seems "nice to have", exactly. And it's not that expensive, I think that the 2GB version would set me back about 38€ delivered, but, after I do get it, then what?! Retro emulation crossed my mind too, but I wouldn't get it for that alone.
