Realtek/Soundmax Modds + SB X-fi MB 1.2

there seems to be a new version, X FI MB 3 and another Guy Gamespirit who has enabled ALL of the stuff that realtek locked out.

it enables stuff like the following:
Dobly DIGITAL /w THX and DTS , DTSHD ,DTS Connect
SRS Processing
CMSS-3D and EAX VIA ALchemy
XFIMB II stuff

I just found this forum after a long desperate research on my problem.

I have a notebook with a Realtek ALC665 Chip and want to have 5.1 output through spdif optical to my surround system. It works with movies but not with games. I read that the soundcard needs to support Dolby Digital Live or DTS Connect to channel 5.1 sound from games to the system, which my sound card supports but the option is deactivated due to license problems or something.

Can you please tell me how I can work around this issue and activate it. Will it work with these modified drivers mentioned in previous posts? I am willing to just try it out, I just need some help as to what exactly am I needing: Just the modified drivers or also this Xi-fi stuff and so on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, been trying for hours now to find a solution.

i went back to the old one but having problems with setting 5.1 , option is not there.

 

This is something I would personally want to know.

I have gone through various peoples X FI MB II drivers and they all seem to lock your audio at 24bit @ 48HZ While the Realtek vanilla can do upto 192Hz naturally. So why not use that, I mean 48Hz vs 192 is a great bit more in terms of quality, right?

What does the MB II add anyway other then a fancy looking tray and volume control panel? Why no 192Hz Support? Whats the point of all those effects if the Music is only 48HZ? lol.

but 64bit_Vista_Win7_Win8_R271_modded able to install and use with xfi mb2 but cant work with more than 48000hz sampler over will result in malfunction cause many app to freeze crash

 

x-fi mb2 you must install your mainboard version. That's OK of 48000Hz.
because x-fi mb2 had many version from mainboard co.

that's filter of mainboard....

 

tested with official 2.71 , over 48k work fine

but now looking for THX TruStudio PC (v1.0)-KiNGViD.zip or pro with activation ...

hi, i'm new here, i'm trying to get SB XFI MB2 to work with my board

i'm using asrock z68 extreme 4 gen 3 with realtek ALC892 chip

i have already downloaded and installed the modded realtek 2.71 drivers, however, i couldn't get the xfi mb2 software for all soundcards and the activator anymore, the links are all down.

what i have is, xfi mb2 from msi's website, it installs and doesn't ask for activation but says it couldn't detect a supported hardware.

if anybody still has a copy of the xfi mb2 for all soundcards and the ativator,please upload, would greatly appreciate it

hi,thanks, i ended up using gamespirit's method. i couldn't seem to make this one work, installed the modded 2.71 drivers and installed the xfi mb2 for all sc you posted, activated it, but it cant find required hardware, i'm not sure if i missed a step

Please can you post some screens on the sb x-fi mb 3 working because I couldn't managed it to work, keeps popping up " There's no supported hardware", and I realized that it uses Asus Sonic Focus, Can you mod it to the old gamespirit sonic focus (The one in picture ) ?
