The Samsung CRG9 is a 49in widescreen monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio and a 5,120 x 1,440 resolution. It’s curved, and is designed for gaming and productivity – and it also has HDR 1000 compatibility, AMD FreeSync 2 and QLED screen technology. It’s not cheap, though, with a price of $1,589 in the USA and £1,130 in the UK. That’s a lot for anyone to spend, and it’s more expensive than its key rival – the Asus ROG Strix XG49VQ costs $899 or £950. Can the Samsung win us over?
