    Hey guys,

Dunno if I posted in the right section :).

I'm in need of a monitoring tool for few of my servers. Something just to check the CPU, Mem, Disk, network and processes at least. The main thing to this is to have a history of 30 days or more. I'm using samurize, but its to limited.

Also, the app needs to be on one server and on the others just an agent that sends data to the server.

PS. All servers are windows servers.

    Any suggestions?

Dang, now you got me thinking.

I'm pretty sure it was Solar Winds that we were using in my old workplace for logging server activity. However, for alerting purposes (also capable of logging) we used Mutiny, which was exceptional for alerting for pretty much any eventuality; disk usage, RAM usage, application not running or any other custom agent that was designed we could see on a wallboard and, for out of hours, text and/or email alerts. We even had a temperature sensor hooked up to it to notify us when the server room got too hot. Well-worth looking into and even works on virtual servers.
