Well im still waiting for my virus scan to complete so i have no idea how it is Gaming Wise yet.. But on normal use so far all for it.. you see the lip underneath the left thumb (Back/Forward) buttons is a plus.I always keep rubbing my thumb on the Pad before hand and that has now been improved.. I do feel that the rat 3 could be a touch larger ( width wise ) due to my hands but thats a personally prefference... the reason i opted for the Rat 3 this time round were that the DPI maxes at 3200 and i think that is fast enough for gaming.. (as mention not tried out yet) Also it glides very well on my Razer Vespula Pad with very little interferrence.
lol,I just got it yesterday, and i waaaay prefer it over my G15V2.. typing is way better and smooth i think,Red color!!!!,LCD is really..really nice in games like BC2 (with background of it and stats) i prefer the wrist rest much more too,I hate the clock tho,i prefer time from older models...wish i could change the color of the background in LCD :/ but hey anyway its new and didnt pay its full price
here are my new toys I've been playing with lately 13" Macbook Air (i5 1.7ghz/4gb/128gb SDD) - this thing is almost as fast as my 2008 8core Mac Pro in some respects! Manfrotto 190XPROB Tripod/804RC2 Head - sturdy enough for my Sigma 70-200, and quite flexible. Also picture in the following is my 70-200 mounted on my 600D and my Cokin filter set (several Graduated Neutral Density, one ND8, and a graduated blue, along with holder & adaptor rings)
Man, if that photo of the tripod is from your place, I envy you for the location of your house. Very nice!
Richard Burns Rally. Probably the best WRC game ever. I used to have a copy but lost it years ago. I bought it from Amazon UK for 3 pounds!!! It's nothing as light as Dirt or Sega Rally. Long courses, very small room for maneuvering, it's the closest to real WRC yet. If you mean the other game, that's "nail'd" a very very arcade racer to the likes of Enduro Racer, or Outrun. Tremendous sense of speed and height and just old style arcade goodness. Try the demo if you wish, very fun, and for the PC you can get it even cheaper.
