I second that! I really like the Mi 9T, the overall specs, performance, photo quality, battery life, notchless design, 3.5mm jack... and I'd like to hear how it all looks in real life. :)

hi it took a day to have the layout i'm comfortable with the MIUI O/S (android) is different from the One Plus Oxygen OS (android) ... because i used Oxygen for 4 years i set up MIUI up the same way, the battery is amazing the battery is at 70% from when i uploaded those images, it's fast screen looks amazing haven't taken photos yet only drawback is some pre installed apps have annoying apps which can be turned off withe the help off a online tutorial and Q version android will vastly reduce the adverts (MI stock apps) ads are how Xiaomi make there phones affordable compared to others

the pro version the Redmi K20 pro is around £80- £100 more than the MI9t/Redmi K20 with 256gb Storage with 8 megs of memory instead of 6 megs and faster processor

    https://www.bgr.in/how-to/block-pesky-ads-miui-10-apps-xiaomi-smartphones/

when i transferred my details files etc from my one plus 3 via google google recognised my phone as Redmi K20

is the phone worth it yes ... best price is from here no problem with customs described as a $20 MP4 music player lol https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000055814753.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.12.4236250cpY4p8G

As some of you will know I have moved to a new place. I am not going to place photos of it online, but I am going to post a photo of my ongoing setting up of my office/game room. I need a few more days to finish (most likely by the end of August) but here is some of it.

after a week's use i have to say this phone is a beast, if you are in the market for a new smart phone ... you won't go wrong buying the Xiaomi MI9T/Redmi K20 or the pro version a £100 more, the basic model comes in 3 choices 6gb ram 64g storage, 6gb ram and 128 gig storage and the 8gb with 256 gig storage and 3 colours black, red and blue ... it's the best bang for buck mobile on the market ... great for gaming, watching videos it's got a 6.39 inch screen at $275 - $430 / £260 - £350 it's a steal also chose the global rom

as for getting through customs don't worry the store says the device is a $20 MP4 player in the description so no custom charges

I don't know about the UK, but that trick doesn't work in the Balkans. However, if you're in the EU, several good sellers offer a slightly more expensive shipping option, usually from an European warehouse, that avoids (or includes) any import fees (so it's a lot cheaper than getting the customs and VAT treatment just getting it from China). That also gives you fairly European consumer rights in regards to the warranty.

BTW, is the device not available in Scotland/UK?

to buy the basic basic MI 9T (does not yet sell it as Redmi K20 or pro version) in the UK will set you back over £400 you can buy the pro version for £60 or £70 less ... it's the exact same phone and software as the global rom version you can buy from China

if you always go with the default shipping option, it basically always works.
been buying from China for forever, I’ve never been hit with customs (other than one time when I needed something in a hurry and had to go DHL)

All of the above for a total: $570.23 USD from the local Micro Center.

AND, FTR, it's a royal PITA to have to upload elsewhere, then link images to here. Totally beyond irritating for me. Probably will do a lot less photos from this point on if the upload file situation cannot be remedied.

This too.... Yeah, there's always a story behind my madness. These two are going to be a stereo rig running through two 4X12 cabinets. So the combo Beta Lead amp will get rehoused into a head cabinet like the Beta Bass.
