This mini camera is just about the size of a US Quarter. I'm quite impressed with what all it can do. But, the only thing is HAS to do for me is to catch whomever is either opening...or LEAVING open...the mailbox at our place. I've had an ongoing complaint with the local mail delivery since we moved in here six years ago. The first carrier, after my initial complaint, apologized in person and we never had another instance of the box being open...UNLESS it was done by a substitute carrier. Since she retired...or whatever resulted in her not being our carrier any longer, the issue has been revived with a vengeance! I have complained in person a few times. The last time I went in to complain in person, the supervisor stuck her head around the corner of the back door, saw who it was and then left the premises. (I could see her leaving through the separation in the back wall.) But, she told someone to tell me she was on the phone...until she was gone...and then I was told she had left.

Since she refuses to face me, I have also, on FOUR occasions, sent physical mail to the Post Master of our local branch. When that didn't resolve the matter, I have also sent copies to the Consumer Affairs dept.

Due to the fact that the old mailbox was, in fact, old, I put in a new post and brand new mailbox with the magnet that secures the door when it is closed properly. That doesn't faze the carrier who is leaving the box open.

SOOO...my new approach is to place this mini camera, which comes with various features, including a small magnet that allows it to be stuck to the back of the mailbox, in there and set to Motion Detection. It will record up to 15 seconds of video once activated. All I need from it is to be able to identify for sure the person...or persons...who use and open this box.

It is my contention that, if the carrier is leaving the box open then that person is NOT COMPLETING the JOB they are being paid to do.

On the outside chance, which I deem to be very remote, that someone may be checking our box for stimulus checks, then, hopefully, that also will be revealed. It is very remote that we would have any checks in the mailbox since all our funds are completed by direct deposit.

Here's hoping for a clear resolution to the problem.

How does it sound? My Google Mini sounds quite decent for its size. :)

Massive step-up from the first gen for music quality. For its size it sounds really good imo. The first gen sounded similar to monitor speakers whereas the newer generation is more like a mid-range Bluetooth speaker of a similar size.

Well my trusty work Van needed a New Windscreen as it had started to crack. (A 57 Plate Citroen Berlingo)

So this is new...Nothing Flash and this is just a googled image..

    s-l1600.jpg

Autoglass wanted £357... For the full fitting and and all the Guarantee Garbage all Big Companies give out...

Used a local fitter & all sorted for £168...A very big difference for a old van...

Kinda went nuts over the course of the last month...

Forget camera doorbells that people can easily steal, or easily avoid while standing at your door.

    Amazing little camera, btw.

Already paid for itself. Don't know why I didn't buy one sooner:
    Endoscope.jpg

    $15. No contest must buy:

    $10. Another must buy:

Because work doesn't allow for USB headsets.. nor will the pay for headsets. Everyone at work is using Skype for Business for conferencing due to COVID, and because of my position I have to be on conf. calls.... on my desktop... at work... while they are all on laptops... working from home. <sigh> I think I'm going to forget to turn the mic volume down on the next conf. call... <HELLO! CAN YOU HEAR ME NO?!?!> ;)
    Koss.jpg

Got 3 pairs of these for wearing around work (that way I can switch them daily):

So I can be on time to work (pfft.. yeah right):

I want speed and more space for my gaming rig, but I can't do NVME yet, so... RAID0 2x1TB SSDs...

I am waiting for larger capacity 2.5 mechanical drives to come out, nothing so far and it is pissing me off. I want at least 8TB, 12 TB would be better.

I considered getting the steelbook edition because it's a GORGEOUS steelbook, then saw the price...they must be joking. I will wait till the price drops, a lot.
Enjoy the game, it looks good.

Depends on where you get it. Digital Deluxe on the game store was the same price on Amazon.ca as the steel book, so I got it instead.

The special edition, with the steelbook, here is between 99 and 125 euros. Up to more than double the regular edition. All it has extra is the steelbook and a couple of in game items, including a so called digital mini artbook.

It's 114.99 Canadian here on Amazon.ca, I can see why you're hesitant to purchase it.

    I paid $89.99 for it.

Must have gone up in price.... or Amazon screwed up...
