Actually that isn't a bad camera at all, I did my research and it is by far the best bang for buck!
Yeah its not bad at all and handles the low light in my computer room quite well..very happy TBH
I've set mine to a warmer setting, I like it when the walls and anything white are have an orangish hue, the wide angle on this camera is interesting though because it captures quite a large area behind me, also I didn't know that discord had backgrounds that put you as the only thing and sort of turned whatever is behind you into a green screen, might use that sometime too.
I miss my BMX.
I didn't know that Fox Racing and BMX had a relation???
Now that is really cool...
I am making it for flight simulator, and I need to know certain areas how they blend and look. Trying to figure it out from the pictures it is very hard and this kit supposed to very accurate.
Live and learn.
In just over 1 1/2 months will be the 1 year anniversary of building this new rig of mine... and I've had my first failure. A major one at that. That Samsung 980 Pro 2TB NVMe? The replacement for the fake one Amazon sent me? Near total failure. Tons of unrecoverable blocks. I had a thick-ass heatsink on it, direct fan cooling.. and it still failed. It's.. toast.
So... I'm slowing things down a bit (not going for top end drive speed this time to keep the heat down), and going with WD for the replacement.
2 x Western Digital WD BLACK SN770 1TB NVMe drives (5,150/4,850 MB/s r/w)(1 for the main SSD, and 1 will be a cloned spare).
1 x Western Digital WD BLACK SN770 2TB NVMe drive (5,150 MB/s)(haven't decided on what to use this for yet)
1 x Western Digital WD BLACK SN750 4TB NVMe drive (3,400/3,100 MB/s r/w)(secondary drive for most games). WD Blue will become a file storage drive replacing my WD 6TB Enterprise hard drive.
Man oh man, that is schweeeeeeet!
The failure must have sucked hard, though.
knock on wood.... still 100% survival rate for all the samsung ssds i've pumped out.
At one point i was selling 2 to 4 a week.
Thankfully the drive only had the OS, and 4-5 games on it (anything that benefited from the SSD speed). All other games and the bulk of the users folders, were/are redirected to the 4TB WD SSD, and the 6TB WD Enterprise drive.
2 minutes to install Windows 10, 4-5 days to get things back up and running. The worst part was recovering payed software, and the trying to recover the contents of the AppData folders for each user. I just don't have the patience for this crap anymore. Currently working on some sort of backup process going forward.
I'm so sorry this had to happen.
I missed that your Samsung drive failed on you.... (I was blinded by all the drives you got).
So you don't trust Samsung anymore huh? Going forward you're a Western Digital man now? I see and don't blame you, I'll get a 4TB drive for my PS5 at Christmas, for now I'm good.
Nah.. not turned off Samsung. I'm just not in a rush to replace a Samsung drive with another Samsung. I'll send this in for repair, and swap it into the system when I get it back... maybe. We'll see. Besides, the SN750 and SN770 were cheaper compared to Samsung when I was looking for a replacement.
That and the SN770 isn't a drive to sniff at at all, it is pretty bloody decent, more than decent in fact. It's awesome. I don't blame you one bit!
