I just find it quite an atrosity that i can (have) bought a game, tried it, thought it was pure garbage, and was unable to return it within a matter of a few hours. OR worse yet, i'm finding alot of the demos will consentrate there best parts of the game or specific sequence, and figure your getting something good out of it, but the real product in it's entirety is completely different. Yet no returns on that either... guarantees are a nothing but a word at that point to. So how many billions of dollars have been lost by the consumers on terrible products... Remember, it's not the companies that put there hands out, it's the consumer, and when the corporations and businesses and companies bite the very hand that feeds them, the consumers are going to revolt and remember it. Unfortunately with more and more legislation, the power of the consumer is dwindling, being eroded to the point that companies are getting the power to dictate everything, and DEMAND the payment of such things, DEMAND that pirateing be resolved, DEMAND retrobution and justice against the consumer itself. And unfortunately, it's being defended by some consumers fighting for the loss of their very own rights. And for what? Business..... "It's just good business"
You act like consumers aren't doing anything wrong. They're blatantly abusing business' copyright which is protected by law. Copyright is the right to control the production, modification, and distribution of your creations. If consumers are going to circumvent it and distribute the material without authorization from the copyright holder, they do not deserve the freedom you want them to have. They are abusing it and businesses are suffering.
You mean starforce? This has no particular relation to games, every product has poor examples. If you buy a Tata, and think it sucks, you don't get to go steal a BMW.
