not a big fan of either. Don't hate them or anything, and my arachniphobia has subsided in the last few years.

About sleep... havent had a good night sleep in 2 years next week (the day my daughter was born). Right now I'm so used to getting like 4 hours, that any more than that, I'm up all day long adn can't sleep at night.

has anyone read the book "Web" by John Wyndham?

some very interesting discussion about spiders, and possible evolution in that one

You should consider getting a few hives as a hobby if you really like bees, and you area allows it. ;)
My dad is/was a beekeeper... he used to do it more commercially, but never expanded past the point where he could manage all the hives by himsell fulltime, and since becoming a schoolteacher, he's cut back a lot on the number of hives he has.

I just woke up from 3 hours of sleep. No physical activity in a day + the pain of extracted wisdom teeth doesn't make for a good night of sleep for me. None of my face is numb at least, which it was before I went to sleep, which is a plus. :)

I still remember my mum having a tarantula when I was about 4, Tunui (probably spelt wrong, heh) its name was, if I actually knew it still had its fangs I would have probably not let it crawl around my neck (I loved it, furry, and very docile), so ive always liked spiders, I hate wasps though, :(

finally got a reasonable amount of sleep! yay!

That bugger of a spider who pestered me the night before was in almost the exact same place when i went up to bed last night as he was the night before. Then i go to catch him and it jumps on top of the glass then jumps down onto my bed AGAIN! Then it went down the side, so i pulled the matresses out and finally caught the little bugger!

You hope??!! Hehe, for your peace of mind I hope it is still there too. Besides your a strapping young lad, lack of sleep should be the least of your ills ATM, lol.

    Lets see,

1.How many pints to put back in one night?
2.How many ladies to .....well you know each night.
3.Wondering when I may quit pestering you a bit?

Sadly I am a night owl and that is not a good thing with work and a family sometimes.

    oh my god!!!!

just came into my bedroom and whadya know - there was a spider that looked very very similar to the one that has bothered me for the past two nights!

so i go back into the other room to check under the glass i captured the other one under and whadya know - it's gone!!! ffs! how the hell did the spider escape from that glass!!! there were no crack nothing that looked anywhere near big enough for the spider to crawl through... i'm confused

but if that damn thing bothers me one more time i'm not gonna be catching it i'm gonna be killing it.
