You just install from this disk and you get the updates pre-installed.
Oh, and if your interested, how slipstream Office XP SP2 :
why bother wasteing the time to do that when its just as easy to install them whent the OS is loaded?
Takes less time, trouble and CD switching DUH!!!!
plenty of good guides out there, I think the easiest way is with this one:
DO NOT slipstream if you use nortons 2002 anything!!!!! Nortons wont update if its a new clean system and sp1 is installed it make xp an unrecognizable version for nortons...
Not so for me, NAV works fine.
did you try it after a format on a blank xp system with sp1????
I have no problems either mate. I tryed SP1 with a craped filled system (no format) and a clean rig. No problems with Norton products either (Anti-virus 2K2, Utilities 2K2 and Ghost Enterprise 7.0).
Update wouldn't install the updates for me had to re-format install xp update norton's then sp1.
Ouch... now that does really suck.
How about instructions to slipstream Win 2000 Pro + SP3
So far have 80 megs of the 133 meg network distribution SP1 update downloaded...only 6 more hours! Then I can burn an SP1 slipstream CD and tuck my XP cd safely away!
Congratulations! The Web address widowsxp.nu is still available!
