    Well I was sort of hoping it was me, but I know it's not =P

    I thought i made a good guess with enemy down but I know it wasn't probably big enough in scope. Tyronswood are very expansive ideas, and quite nice...

    I bet you'll be winning that 6 core system from Intel "Tasty bit of tech" indeed.

    I'm still hoping I win the GOTY Intel kit, I've been really wanting to build one... but I've had reservations, this would be like, DO IT, DO IT NOW!

    Since 8 is a big thing and the group already has 7 sites, 8 will probably me the 8th addition to the group. What that will be, I do not know.
    Cosmosheaven ? Earthheaven? The acquisition of another company?
    Perhaps something to do with film or music?

    AFAIK it wasn't specified if the first close guess is the winner, or the most accurate. So it still could be anybody's game........ :cool:

    DH is getting new and shiny things? Also, someone will win something cool in 2010 from DH that is for sure. I will most likely be in the hospital recovering from alcohol poisoning on January 1, 2010 so that's eventful. Oh and perhaps Tyronswood will be gifted a puppy? I'm just speculating.....

    And perhaps AMD and Intel will wage an epic war against one another....

    DH talking about something big will definately be big, so I guess they are hiring people for it.. Daily hardware reviews!

    and craig was talking about the BEST guess getting a prize. Not the guess that's closest to the truth, or the most inventive guess, or the most expansive guess.. no, the best guess, so it could be anyones guess the find the best one that gets the prize..

    Not to sound like an elitist but did anybody notice that 90%+ of the posts in this thread are from regular members? I like the odds that the tasty hardware will go to one of the folks who is active and contributing.

    It's because the prize giveaways are advertised at various places around the web which lead the newbies to DH, whereas I don't think this would be advertised as it is an 'internal' event.

    I'm guessing that you made some deal with a game hardware company to be the first one the net to review one of their latest products. It could be with Razer, Antec or ATI.

    My other guess is that there is stuff to giveaway like keyrings and winter hats that you haven't told us about yet.
