What exactly are you not telling us about this incident? Why would you suspect the PC to be affected by your laptop falling off the table? Did it fall and bounce off the PC on the floor? 2 meters is roughly the distance away as the height of a grown man, right? (6.56 feet in USA measurements.)

I'm at a total loss to understand why there is any suspicion about how a PC, that distance from any falling object, could cause harm.

I've often said that there are no stupid questions. I'll make an exception in this case. :)

I think this is some running joke as last time OP asked if loud noise from another room could affect PC and the time before that I think it was smoke from a toaster that was in another room (I think) but this is just the third inane "could my pc be damaged or am I paranoid" post that we have had in last couple of months

Agreed... this must be some kind of troll. Most trolls don't go out of their way to look like a moron, but there is always a first for everything. trolls usually end up looking like a moron, but to start right off the bat is very strange. Maybe it's some kind of social experiment.

Yes, the most important in determining the extent of the PC damage is how much RAM it has :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

The guy is just trying to see how many responses he will get and it THIS he succeeded.
