You know how when you start to install a SP1 leak for WINXP, it extracts it into some crap folder like C:\4820fdsgiji2408gdhljk4208 or whatever and installs from there and then deletes it afterwards? (or does it i dont know) well i have two of those folders from sp 1089 and 1097 i think and i cant delete them. I want to delete them because it's taking up space and im running 1102 and theres no need for those folders... Are those protected files by window's thing and if so how do i disable Windows File Protection?
http://members.aol.com/axcel216/2k1.htm scroll down to where it says "disable windows file protection" kinda complicated though. or just do it in safe mode.
... lol ok for some reason i can delete ONE of TWO, but the other one it says everything access is denied blah blah blah. This install folder belongs to my other computer (i just switched my 80gig and plugged it into it since it's nothing but d/l files/installation/backup stuff) will i be able to delete it when i switch it back to the other computer?
