    Hello guys,

I dont know which one to buy. Havent got many mice yet, just my MX518 for about 5 years. I can probably adjust to both of these (Alcor / Kana v2) since they have different shape compare to my MX518.

But which one is more superior in terms of quality / durability? (e.g. cord / wheel / buttons / the face / whole mouse)

// I know about high LOD but its not a problem since "tape-trick" can fix it easily.

Mousepad: SteelSeries QCK, 800 DPI user, gaming: League of Legends, Osu, sometimes non-competitive CS:GO

Which one would you recommend me? Thanks in advance.

I'd go for the SteelSeries, nicer surface and softer cord. :)

Btw, next time post your question in Hardware lol.

I'd throw in Corsair's M65 to those options. Otherwise, I see only good reviews about all Steelseries

haven't used a Kana, but my Steelseries Xai is pretty much my favourite ever mouse
    just tracks sooooo nice :)

had a CM Storm mouse (Z3RO G I think), didn't even last a week, thing was a horrible laggy POS

    I'd go Steelseries personally

Not sure about both listed but my steelseries sensei raw is fantastic. Is there some issue with the MX518. It is still a great mouse

@Callandor I'm sorry for posting this to the wrong section.

@Takaharu M65 is too expensive for me.

@niceguyrichy Thanks for sharing your experiences!

@Resistor My MX518 is basically okey, but I want a change.

Well I'm not sure which one (Kana v2 or Alcor fits my hand better) unnamed.jpg

Don't worry man, it's no biggie. And I'd say the Kana v2 fits your hand a lot better. :)

And what about Sensei Raw? Better than Kana v2?

The SteelSeries Sensei Raw is the DeathAdder of SteelSeries. If you want something that is really simple and straightforward, it'll do. Many people do sing it's praise, but I've never used one myself.

Edit: I should mention that I use a Razer DeathAdder 2013 Edition and I loooove this mouse, it's my second DeathAdder, had a Transformers one before this one, and I tell you no other mouse is quite like the DeathAdder.

If you want a nice comfortable mouse for a big paw... maybe a look at the Roccat Kone XTD is in order... big hands here, and I absolutely love mine.

I quite like the Sensei Raw.. I went from Logitech G5 to Sensei and have not regretted it.

I have massive paws, and although I do sometimes accidentally catch the side buttons with my big fat thumb, I can live with it cos of how much I love everything else about my Steelseries.

if the comfort thing is V important though, I'd thoroughly recommend a RAT 7
that's my backup mouse, and it is fantastic, and very comfortable. I just happen to slightly prefer the SS Xai :)

Lol so I've thrown Alcor and Kana v2 out and now I've targeted Mionix Avior 7000 / Roccat Kone Pure Military / Zowie FK1, not sure with FK1 though since it has got Huanos switches which are not very comfortable in moba games. Thoughts?
