brown lenses actually give you the best vision acuity. it is a compromise from the yellow lenses used for shooting & night driving. expensive.? my revos cost $200. wich i consider an investment for how much i wear sunglasses- my eyes are light sensitive(thx dad) & we have a lot of sun up here. the kicker is, my wife tried them & liked them so much i had to buy here a pair. those were $250.- $$ that are part of my comp fund. grumble.
the oakley fire-iridium lenses have a brown-ish yellow tint to the view, so you get that clarity....and the lenses are gauranteed flawless, so that's another plus. my girlfriend thinks i'm crazy for buying them tho..so thank god I don't hafta shell out another $185 for her some too ....but yes..i got really sensitive eyes, and cheap stigmatic lenses(even mild blemishes) drive me crazy and give me headaches.....
my wife thought the same thing until she tried them. could not beleive the diff between them & $20 - $40 glasses she had been wearing. not that i hadnt been telling her for years
Do those work well though? All I hear about them is that they take forever to change with the lighting
Aw damn....oh well...could be worse.....she coulda fallen in love with some Oakley Juliet's w/ Ruby lenses or something(retail: $400)
Mine are similar to these: Only they are polarized, and has slightly different frames. I'm really happy with them.
Have a pair I found in the floorboard of my friends car, she thinks they used to belong to her ex-boyfriend... she isent sure... eitherway, mine now!
I'm quite concious about how I look... my sunglasses have to go with what I'm wearing... so I'd never get Oakleys because I don't have any clothes that'll go with them lol. I wear black wired frame shades most of the time... with almost rectangular lenses.... the suit my face perfectly and go with just about any outfit... but look their best when I'm wearing a suit or jeans/white shirt (with elongated cuffs)/black jacket... also gotta be careful with what you do with ur hair depending on what glasses you wear lol. I also have some silver rimless things which go better with the majority of my tshirts... especially the lighter coloured ones... Just wish I could find my animal ones!!! They went with EVERYTHING! lol.... dame me being so concious about my look lol
lol... you poor fashion-sense-less guy dear dear :dead: lol I tend to go for the 'sophisticated' look... depends on what i'm doin tho
A girl I work with just ordered two pairs of Oakley's and told me it cost her almost 500$ so I started laughing at her.. nothing can justify spending more than 20$ on sunglasses in my eyes unless they're presciption.
Well imo, polarized glasses are a must, especially here in the winter when that sun starts gleaming off the snow...it's really bloody bright. Unfortunately polarized glasses are always harder on the wallet.
have had my Oakley splice for a while now and recently bought a pair of oakley half jackets. I really like the half jackets. bought them with 3 different sets of lenses.
