I did and was really surprised that I had teh chance, was a lot of fun though and its not often you can ask "what would Captain Kirk do to fix this" in a review :)

Fascinating stuff. I'm not as active on the forums as I used to be but I have a nose every now and then. As much as I like the community it shrank a tad over the years.
Definitely looking forward to seeing the progress.

Do you want feedback on the content itself or the way the articles are written and would you prefer open discussion or messages to your inbox?

    Hello guys,

After a long delay, it's now time to change.

2 weeks ago we have launch en.overclocking.com. As I told you a lot of months ago, this is the future of hardwareheaven.

We will have more content, more reviews, more tests...Connected to the french version of overclocking.com and also ( we hope ) with some native english guys.

Next week, we will unplugged hardwareheaven.com and we will redirect the traffic to en.overclocking.com.

During some times, the forums will stay on the forum.hardwareheaven.com and we will also merge them with the overclocking.com forums.

I really need some native english speaking guys to collaborate to this project becasue we don't want just to translate french content.

With this merge I think we will became stronger as a media but also as a brand.
If we managed this merge we will certainly launch a spanish version early 2022.

And believe me we have a ton of other projets.

Please, don't hesitate to ask me / contact me if you have questions/ideas.

It's going to be a sad moment when this domain is no more, but on the other hand I'm looking forward to new things and new energy in the future!

so does this mean that the forums will be merged in a manner that the structure and posts for the most part will remain unified... but then there will be 2 message boards molded into one?

I still find most sites are creating subreddits instead and using them as the modern form, allowing sites to avoid having to expend extra resources and time managing software and the servers to handle the message boards.

Here is a link to the French forums, I believe things will look the same as they do now for the most part.

Are we going to have to sign up from the beginning or are our accounts here at the forum going to transfer automatically to the new place?

Considering the forums will still be XenForo I think the passwords and users will stay intact.

My goal is to keep everything from the actual hardwareheaven forum (logins, posts..) but to have only one server / xenforo to maintain.
Anyway, at this time we do not have the solution, that's why we will keep them separately for one moment.

But in my mind we have to switch to one forum with different main sections ( English / French...).
We will also open a discord server with different language sections in a few days ( we are almost ready ).

I hope my post answer to your questions.

I am happy that HH will be merged with a site that is high on the rankings in how often it is visited. The overclocking.com domain is both well respected and trusted. This is a really monumental time indeed.

Thank you for the explanation. I hope you manage to do it.

As for Discord, I will never use it, but good luck with that too.

Anything that potentially can track new traffic here is a good thing and I am glad its a merge not a takeover, there is a certain something about this forum that has kept me as a member for over 20 years and I would really hate to lose that, what I am seeing looks good so fingers crossed this could be the start of a new era here ,
