    Hi folks,

    Tomorrow it's SOCCER TIME!!!!!!!

that's right, the European championship is starting.

I'm looking forward to an entire month of soccer brought by the best players in Europe.

So Who do you think will win the championship this year?
And who will become the top scorer?

My bets are France will win and Henry will be top scorer.

PS: and don't you think Belgium should have been there aswell? :)

    So let's hear your voice...

We play France in our opening game on Sunday night!:uhoh: If we come through unscathed I think we have a very good chance of getting to the semis at least!

I think Italy will win....I like the way they play and they're interesting to watch too. :) England should do well...but having France in their group will make things difficult. Should be a good tournament though! :)

England v France on sunday.i am waiting with not much anticipation on this match i am fearing the worst, henry to be on form that day. backed up by viera and pirez.

i dearly will love england to come away with all 3 points but in real terms i don't think they will.

not a good opener,to come through this match undamaged will be fantastic.i would dearly like to see the squad lift the cup but this will be a very tough tournament.

Sweden is playing Bulgaria on monday, that will be a key match for us....it's a pretty tight groop wit Italy, Sweden, Denmark and Bulgaria...italy will propably win the group, but the second playoff spot will propably be possible to achieve for Team Sweden. It will be tough...but we have some top players, Henrik Larsson(Celtic), Ibrahimovich(Ajax), Ljungberg(Arsenal), Mellberg(aston villa)....to mention some of the players...

disaster for Portugal the hosts have lost there opening match against Greece. very surprisingly to add.

    Portugal 1-2 Greece.

a plus for Greece.this is there first ever victory in a major competition.

portugal scoring with around 1min of stoppage time left.

It isn't the first time Portugal fails in championships....they have very good players, but they haven't won anything major on International level for ages....

I heard the funniest thing on TSN regarding the English fans.

They are not permitted to drink at the games due to past violence, but they are going to allow them to smoke joints instead

    England4eva,

Remember to come back and post after France give England a good hammering tonight ;)

You really shouldnt rely on past glorys so much though, your "wonderful" football team hasnt won anything for nearly 40 years and even then you needed a dodgy linesmans decision to get you the win (A goal which has since been proved by scientists to have not crossed the line) however if you do want to dwel in the past then maybe you should drop by Amazon to pick up this item.
