Check out Just Cause 2 if you haven't already. It periodically goes on sale for under 5€ and is also a load of fun. No melee combat, but other than that, completely over the top action with an arsenal of weapons (grappling hook to Gatling guns) and loads of vehicles, including Tuk Tuks, garbage trucks, bikes, choppers and planes (and driving and flying challenges). If I tell you that you unlock the missions by achieving a certain level of chaos within the small island state in which the game is set, I think you get the picture.
If this helps: if you played and liked any of the True Crime series you will like Sleeping Dogs. It was originally called "True Crime: Hong Kong", cancelled by ActiBlizzard (big mistake you dolts!), then revived by SquEnix as Sleeping Dogs.
Yeah, heard about Just Cause 2, but I don't have any way to buy atm (using paypal, need to transfer money from bank account so it'll be to late by then). I've been wanting to try Sleeping Dogs as well, but unwilling to buy it, and I also have a list of unfinished/unstarted games from previous Steam deals
And the actual cost will be what? I mean, for small sums like that I bet the credit card company takes a fee?
nah it's a Visa Debit, just takes it straight out of my bank so actual cost will be.... 19p £1.69 now huh. was 0.99 a little while ago, 0.19 through the night they do like to jig the prices around all over the place don't they :duh: the other thing they had through the night was the Just Cause Collection at £4.19 except, if you ignored that, and just added all of the JC stuff to your cart individually, it only came to £3.52... :bleh:
Cheap tricks for making money, some people actually fall for it (I would without checking). Sometimes it's better to add everything individually rather than being "lazy"
