Ha! Well now that you have my Instagram (which in case anyone wants they can pm me) you just might see that if I ever got the "Not a flamethrower". :D

Of course the proof is in the pudding; the mere fact that @Judas doesn't take his own advice is suspect enough.... :p

So @Judas and @Tipstaff and everyone else, I'd like to buy the following for my PC (I'll post links not pictures since I haven't bought them yet):

    - Noctua NF-A15 HS-PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Black)
    - Noctua NA-HC3 chromax.black.swap, Heatsink Cover for NH-D15, NH-D15S & NH-D15 SE-AM4 (Black)
    - Patriot Viper RGB Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) 3600MHz kit w/Black heatshield

Now, as for the first two, (all links lead to Amazon.ca btw) - I want to know this time round, they are compatible with my cooler, no?

Also as for the RAM, it would make sense to upgrade to 64GB now for future proofing and just so I don't have to think about anything with this system anymore for the next few years right? The board can support up to 128GB of RAM, but I'll buy a newer much faster and lower latency kit later, for now this is the cheaper option. Also, I want to get a new screen later on that can support higher frames, this one is capped at 60Hz, but I have to say it is great so far. Gaming on this new system has been a joy, just crank everything up to Ultra and enjoy. :)

I'll get the new screen (most likely a 48" or larger 4K HDR 1000 display with like at least 120Hz later around Christmas time, for now I can't justify spending any more money, it would just be ridiculous) and a new kit of 128GB of RAM around my next birthday in May of next year or maybe Black Friday or Cyber Monday next year. This board supports 5000 Mhz OC RAM but I wouldn't go so high just because I know once you get up to those levels it can be a bit unstable or just flat out not work, at least not without consulting with you guys.

can't remember if your current modules are dual rank or single rank, you'd have to post a cpu Z screenshot of the memory modules again.
If they are dual rank, i wouldn't stick in another set of ram, the IMC isn't a big fan of multiple dual rank kits occupying all 4 slots. Often you're better off getting a single kit of 2x32gb.

The fan and heatsink appear to be proper.

Also no don't bother with high performance memory in terms of "higher mhz..."... breaking the 1:1 sync of IF clocks and memory clocks is bad unless you can hit insanely higher frequencies which has little if any benefit, often it's a struggle just to break even again. You're often better getting low latency memory at 3600mhz to 4000mhz. If i recall your current kit is CL18.... if you want to spend the dollars for faster, you'd gain the most by getting CL14 3600/3800/4000 mhz modules.

They are dual rank, but what I'm wondering is.... since they don't seem to make 2x64GB modules, would it be okay to just remain at 32GB for the time being? Or should I spring for 2x32GB modules, I mean would that be sensible to do?

And thanks, will get the fan and heatsink covers...

Edit: what do you think of this kit, this time on Newegg...

Edit 2: after looking around I've decided 32GB is more than enough for now, and I definitely don't need anymore RAM... I mean I'm not a content creator, a power user, a graphics designer or anything like that. For now I'm good. :)

32gb today is still plenty, just keep an eye on things and if you see your memory usage exceed roughly 65-70% at some point.... that's about where the extra memory would start becoming effective as windows treats 65-70% the line in which it starts considering and prepping to dump services and background apps to page file which for ssds.. should be avoided. Windows will begin to actively start dumping more up front apps at around the 80% and when 90% is hit, it'll go into panic mode and start dumping even active applications to swap/virtual/page file.

16GB is imo a limiting factor for many people playing games.. 32gb is nice and cozy, very few need 48 or 64gb.

We won't likely see 2x64gb modules, i'm only aware of buffered ECC memory up to 128GB being available like that, unbuffered is 2x32GB.

I've only one customer that isn't a creator or something that used 64+ gb.... and that's a customer that plays games like DCS which is gaud damn heavy on memory and resources.

So pulled the trigger on the heatsink covers and extra 140mm CPU fan tonight:

Noctua NA-HC3 chromax.black.swap, Heatsink Cover for NH-D15, NH-D15S & NH-D15 SE-AM4 (Black) (I'll be rocking the blue ones on my PC):

Noctua NF-A15 HS-PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Black) (I'll be mounting it without any of the colored anti-vibration pads, just the black ones):
