    hmm after watching that trailer i'm not sure what to make of it.

    Think I'll just stick with the UK one, at least you know you only have to wait a few episodes for Clarkson to make some politically incorrect comment.

    It looks like Speed channel is working on an answer to TG:US with some of the hosts that were tapped for the Pilot. Dan Neil (Pulitzer prize winning writer), Adam Carolla (radio/tv), Matt Farrah (SmokingTire), and John Salley (NBA). Supposedly a mix between Top Gear and Best Damn Sports Show (essentially an extension of the BDSS brand with high end cars)

    I watched again today...
    a pale distint reflection of an obscure memory of what I thought I saw when I was switching channels....
    American Top Gear is pure rubbish.

    They should call it something else.
    Using "Topgear" will always result in it being compared to the original which it can never equal or top..

    It's ok, it comes off as a weird mix of an adam corolla show and a gameshow with no prizes. I think if they relaxed a bit and took themselves a bit less seriously with the forced humor it'd be a better show

    Well I am a huge fan of topgear, but after i watched topgear US i think its a Huge fail in my book. they have none of the intelligent banter that you get from the topgear Uk geoup, and frankly all they have ever done is try to drive the cars (which were already revewed by James, Richard and the tall grumpy one "POwerrrrrrr" ) in a straight line which is only exciting foe a fraction of a minute, and their course is pathetic compared to the legendary topgear track.
    So for me it is a big fail...
