OCZ 120GB Agility 3 SSD - Solid State Drives | Ebuyer.com
Good deal that. Can't justify it myself, though
For a while the Corsair Force 3 120GB has been the best on price/performance here in Sweden but just now the Agility 3 overtook it here as well. I'm tempted to get a second one, though for now I can squeeze the few games I really play onto the 120GB system drive anyway. Just darn Shogun 2 is 29GB though. :dead:
FYI: UK only
I have added that to the main heading..
It's a great drive,its a pitty i can't afford a second drive right now at that price...
is the agility 3 a good spec ssd i can get them and sell them cheap but i noticed cheap ssd are cheap for a reason ive always stocked corsair
actually OCZ solid state drives until recently cost more than the corsair drives they have almost identical performance and the cost difference is £10 on Ebuyer
ive just stocked all the ocz range including the vertex 4 and compared to the corsair the vertex 4 is priced as good but you get more for your money storage wise but performance and speed you just cant beat the corsair force 3 gt
I'm pretty sure the Vertex 4 is significantly better performing than the Force 3 GT, is it not?
Vertex 3 Max IOPS vs. Force GT here: AnandTech - Bench - SSD
yh max iops is but reading into the data transfer rate the vertex 4 has a lower data read and write.
force gt 120gb 85,000 IOPS,
Max. Sequential Read Rate:555MB/s
Max. Sequential Write Rate:515MB/s
Vertex 4 128gb 120,000 4k read 90,000 and write is 85,000 IOPS
Sequential Reads - 535 MB/s
Sequential Writes - 200 MB/s
currently cant find the M.T.B.F For the vertex 4
ive got the vertex 4 on order for myself and stock and might do a test between the both models
It was only your clause "performance and speed you just cant beat the corsair force 3 gt" that I wished to contest. If you do compare the Force GT and the Vertex 4, I'd be interested to see your results, presuming comparably sized drives.
fair play was my clause  i'll see what i can do towards doing a review at the moment thou corsair SSD's aint selling that well ocz thou now they sell really well, but tbh anythings faster than a hdd
currently got the vertex 4 on offer at the moment, were also putting it in our i45 giveaway deal only because corsair said no thou.
now down to £95
