Im looking at purchising a laptop with a 13" or smaller screen for travel use and home use.

What are some of the better ones on the market for around $2000

the TX series has a faily high rate of return and is one of our msot common "open box" items, actually...I'd lean much more stringly on the SZ

    and ouch...whats $3000 AUD in USD....$2500?

HP also makes some excellent offerings in the 14" position...but that may be bigger then you want to look at

i've no idea about that CPU, but if the overall system gets a good reviews and after you check it out more i guess you should be okay,

"MSI for laptops ?" -- don't know how can i tell about that either. but any company can make this type of computer these days.
check the maker's and seller's reputation on the product warranty.

also, think a bit more about hard drive and RAM sizes, other than that... go for it.
