Oh my.. @ UT2K7. That looks damn fun. That shock rifle combo looked so nice and the game was looking and running so well. On top of everything, the music and announcer was very UT-esque and that's what I like to hear! I'm a big fan of the UT soundtracks. UT2K4's soundtrack was top notch.
The Demo was at the Nvidia GeForce 2.0 LAN in SF that happened on tuesday, a rather smashing event I must say, though the only freebies i got were a shirt a booklight and a copy of BF2.
the ONLY freebies you got? what were you expecting a free 7800 card, i'll be happy with just the BF2 copy
Hey 5 people got them in the raffle and there were more that got it from competing I can atleast Hope to get a new video card or one of the Athlon 64 4000+ they gave out, which someone won 2 of BTW. Its still a 5 / 200 chance to win one of the video cards and they probably had 50 or so prizes in the raffle. I am still happy with the game though the menu loads so slow and the servers were buggy while we competed laggin out atleast once for our entire team and having many many slowdowns due to a connection problem I hope they fix those problems. The main thing about a good LAN is good gaming and good competition and it had both the game was just extra incentive to go.
