Upgrade To Core i7

    Hi Im currenly trying to upgrade to a core i7 PC

    Spec

    core i7 920 2.66ghz
    6gb kingston ddr3 ram
    asus p6t
    Gigabyte Odin Pro 800w
    320Gb Seagate HD

    Old Stuff
    xfx 8800GT 512MB ddr3 256bit
    160 Seagate HD

    i was wondering that could i use my old current PSU Enermax FMA II 535W for sometime untill i save enough money to get a new one?
    i wanted to make sure before i blow something

    should be enough if you don't overclock anything. check out the thermaltake tool that approximately calcs your usage if u want.

    Oh Thanks i wont be ocing this i7 ill give it a try
    i calculated it got me 335 w but is it accurate?

    It's never 100% accurate, but it can give you an idea of power consumption. Since you got around 200W left, you should be ok with that PSU for the time being.
