BitTorrent Inc launched their rebranded version of uTorrent as BitTorrent 6.0. The good news is that uTorrent and its community will not be replaced. Not now, and not in the future.

It's a great client so it seems like a good move. Fears of major modifications to the uTorrent software after BitTorrents acquisition doesn't seem to have materialised so far. But I'll keep using the regular uTorrent client for as long as it's available.

This is the beginning of the end for utorrent. Even if there are no collusions between it and the MPAA the appearance that there could be will be enough for many sites to block the client (as they already have) and using it won't be an option.

Between 0-4% CPU usage with just over 100 torrents. It makes life hell, I can barely use my computer.

100 torrents at once? The CPU usage must be pretty low on that imaginary PC you got there :D

Wth are you talking about? I just told you what task manager reports. Fwiw, I'm not talking about 100 active torrents, I don't have stuff that important.
