9800 XT overclocked to 460 core and 405 memory.
But why do you only have 5592 in 3D mark 03
thats pcmark04, I posted 3dmark03 above, got 7700+
Well it’s seems that I need a pair a glasses or mayby a pair of new eyes. Sorry, next time I will actually READ.
By the way, those are great scores.
hehe its ok, pcmark04 and 3dmark03 look quite similar, ive made that mistake myself.
thanks, the scores are pretty good, best ive ever had anyway.
My best 3D mark 03 scores was 6711, that was with modest oc to the cpu from 2,4 - 2,6, and my 9800 pro to 452/361 and with cat 4,2. But I must buy a new PSU if I want to be able to OC my CPU to 3,0
Thats a very good point, spending a small fortune as I did on the globalwin sapphire 520w 19db PSU has made me see just how important a great PSU is. im powering the P4, the 9800 XT, 5 hard drives, 3 optical drives, a watercooling kit and im still getting 5v readings of 5.00 and 12 volt readings of 11.97....... best PSU out there.
I totaly agree with you, you shouldn't be cheap when buying a new PSU
By the way, very impressive 3D Mark 01 score.
I cant believe the memory is holding up to 1:1 245 2 CAS with 3.1 volts OCZ platinium DDR3500 ROCKS !
Did you receive the 1/2" version, my kit has landed but it's the 10mm version
I'm not sure I'm keeping it yet, it was supposedly the 1/2" version but the supplier doesn't have the 1/2" stuff even though its posted as such.
yes I got the good one.
Rubbing it in a little bit aren't ya!!
erg... i'm surprised if i got 1/4th of that with my rig....
I really must buy a new PSU, great scores Zardon
this is what I like the most, the temps !
nice things inside your mashine, my 2 p4 based babies score a little higher, but thats not my call...
now you should take the chance to doublewatercool "your" duo volaris...hehe
my water(fluid)reservoir is a 204 litres big rain-garden-whatsoever thing and it`s outside...so if
you have the chance to try this, do it...north-germany is not the coldest place on earth, but
no temp goes higher than 25C (on load)...and its quit cheap, i guess my green garden-water-bla
was 10€?!? maybe you wont be able to go much higher, but its impressive to watch "comp-winter-
temps" of 4-7 C and 9-10 C under heavy load after a full day of work(at least for the comps)...
and i`m sure you will enjoy this one, after reading the 2nd part of your amd 64 fx51?? review, its
clear to me, that this time a high-end comp is cheaper with intel inside, unfortunately its even faster
would buy all my stuff again, glad you made the same choice...
and for games like x2 its the real thing, everything set to max and still smoooth...
Zardon, what computer case do you have??
At the minute ive two antec cases im modifying to put the watercooling in one case and the components in the other. working out a hinge atm.....
