    Apple chief executive Tim Cook has responded to media reports alleging harsh working conditions in China for manufacturing employees of the popular gadget-maker.

    So you feel bad for them? Oh that's lovely, But what about the 4 families that are now missing a husband, wife, father or mother.

    Well if you're undoubtedly going to find more issues there's clearly some deep flaws that you've been ignoring for long enough.

    What we will not do -- and have never done (Until somebody had enough evidence to point the finger) -- is stand still or turn a blind eye

    It's a bit strange to blame Apple for all of this while ignoring how pretty much every other western company outsources labor to Chinese workshops which have the exact same problems.

    I don't say this to defend Apple, but as The Captain points out, they are all doing this. Apple just so happens to be caught up in the whole media hoopla deal right now.... Asian workers have always been getting the dirty end of the stick if they got anything at all for all this great hardware we get in the rest of the world.... and the big corporations have gotten really fat in the process.
