What are the FXbux 10 11 12 and 15 used for?

They are routed to 3-D audio W E S ans Top (North, South, East and West, I think)

But what are they used for? Since they aren't wave devices, nor ASIO nor AC3 and nor Midi

they can be used for 3-d audio (at the moment and in the future)
you will need to execute 'kxctrl -shw 18 4' in order to turn this feature on
note that the S, E & W outputs aren't currently properly mixed by the Surrounder effect, that's why this feature is OFF by default
so, use this option on your own risk :)

in the future, as soon as the surrounder is re-written, these outputs will be used automatically without any need for 'shw 18'

I don't understant what 3-D audio is, since it seems to be something else than DS3D.

    3-d audio ~ = DS3D, since DS3D is 'Direct Sound 3-D' [audio]
