Well I guess it's official, according to WarGaming (the devs of World of Tanks) , my most played tank in 2020 was indeed the ravioli.
My younger son bought XBOXes from me and his brother in order to give his two young boys, 8 yrs and 6 yrs, in order to play, Among Us. I'm not familiar with the game other than the fact that they could not play it together on one XBOX since someone has to be an "impostor" in the game..and that can't happen if on the same console...even if the console supports multiplayer on one unit.
Along with still playing Escape from Tarkov I picked up a sweet little tactical game called Door Kickers 2: Task Force North.
There is a sequel? Nice. I bought the first one some years ago, never played it, but it looks good. I started playing Control Ultimate Edition on the PC DRM Free, from GOG. I literally played the first room and nothing else yet, plan for more today. I set the graphics to max at 1440p and the game looks very good, better than any Youtube video I have seen so far. I guess part of the reason, other than the compressions, is that when I play I actually stand still to have a better look at the details. Something about the setting just drove me to get this. Anyway, performance wise I am not sure what the fps was yet, it was definitely about 30, but not sure how high. Before I quit the game I changed MSAA to off and turned off a couple of things I don't like (blur, and one more thing I can't remember) so I might get a small boost from that too. Even if I don't, the game plays really well so I won't have an issue. Well...depends of course how demanding following parts of the game will be. Running on a i7 5960X, 64GB Ram, GTX 1660 Super.
Door Kickers 2 is insane. I got turned onto it by a streamer that I watch, Karmakut, who normally streams Tarkov, Insurgency, and Squad.
Single player I Playing Little Nightmares 2 and having a replay of Journey to the Savage Planet COOP im having a run through on Dead Space 3 with my Son on Steam and Farpoint on the PSVR
I was informed that there are some spoilers of the game Alan Wake in the game Control. It looks like I am going to pause Control and install Alan Wake to finish it and its expansion pack. Then I will return to Control.
No major spoilers for Alan Wake in the Control Main Game (depending on how much of documents you pick yup you actually read that is) just the odd mention of locations on documents and some stuff on Thermos flasks and the odd throwaway line but nothing that would spoil any surprises in either game though. there is a joined universe moment in the Control AWE DLC and again it really wont spoil either game.
Thank you, but as I am one of those who likes to read everything, even a tiny thing might be enough to annoy me. I started earlier playing Alan Wake. Which btw is far more creepy than I remember. I never played more than an hour or so of that game, but that was I think when it was first released on the Xbox 360. Playing it now on PC (GOG version) at max settings at 1440p, while obviously is not a new game, it still looks pretty damn good.
Your probably doing the right thing then, Although I think I was about 60% done before I caught on to the fact that it was mentioning Alan Wake in any way Yeah I played them both last summer and they do look pretty good that moment at the start when the Boat docks is still very impressive, Only drawback I had was it does get a little repetitive and the American Nightmare expansion is very repetitive ...fun though
Plus I decided since I am playing Alan Wake to do a series of it for my Youtube channel, it can't possible hurt.
If your doing that you might want to include Quantam Break as there are crossovers to Control/Alan Wake in that.
Well, thinking about this, if it is spoilers about Quantum Break, that's ok as I don't have the game nor do I plan on buying it. Or perhaps I bought the game for the Xbox One? I haven't used the console since 2015-16. Thanks anyway.
Its more of a linking of the universes like most of the stuff in game its less about spoiling and more about connecting the worlds. Nothing really spoils any of them. Post links when you stick this up on youtube be interesting to see your take on American nightmare
The first part of Alan Wake is already up. As for American Nightmare, that's going to take few days as I plan on recording every other day or so.
