Logitech G15 (the proper one not the horrid new one).
I use a logitech dinovo edge because it was the nicest wireless board I could find at the time. Along with a G7 mouse it makes gaming on the big screen a lot more comfortable.
Have you used the Wireless Laser Desktop 4000, any idea how it compares to that one? It's curved, but without the big split down the middle... I'd prefer that one, but I don't want to deal with wireless keyboards, and there's no wired equivalent.
Edit: Although, the insert/page up/down group of keys is modified on the on the Wireless Laser Desktop 4000, same as on the Logitech wave... which I hate, it's like trying to use Mac keyboards where the alt keys are in the wrong place.
I have a Ideazon Zboard.
You should of had Saitek in there
Logitech G15 rev1 (rev2 is ugly, and doesnt have as many options)
I've been using the same keyboard for about 6 years
It came as part of the "Cordless Freedom Optical" package. The included mouse was shite and I've gone through about 4-5 mouse upgrades since then but the keyboard is still just as good as the day I got it thanks to regular cleaning and fresh batteries. It's been awesome for gaming and only the G15 series has got me interested in tossing this one out.
In the game Winc Commander Heart of Tiger or no, perhaps, yeah, it was Price of Freedom WC IV, at one point, either the captain or Luke Skywalker used a keyboard where not one was the left and right side of the keyboard with some room in the middle like most "natural" keyboards, but also each side was deeper than the rest of the keyboard. So you didn't have to hold your hands up, they keyboard was going down, does it make any sense to you? Do you remember it? I always wanted to find a similar keyboard but I have never seen anything like it in the market.
At work - comfortable, reliable, and very quiet (can't stand all the clicky noise - my own typing is annoying to me on a loud keyboard) - Microsoft Comfort Curve 2000 - cheap too. A Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse (ver. 1.1A) and this keyboard sell together for 21.99 at NewEgg.
i can't stand anything that's wireless or without the split...
i've got the microsoft comfort curve 2000 that doesn't have the split and has a more of a "bend" in the transition from one side of the keyboard to the other..... it's useable for quicktasks.....
Saitek Eclipse 1 Red.
I use it because it looks secks
Logitech G15 rev.1.
All the keys a backlit, including the LCD (yet I can close the LCD if I'd rather not see it), soft yet responsive keys, 18 programable keys x 3 levels for total of 46 different macros (and thanks to the LCD I can do that from within a game), and it's well built.
Only problem though is that I hardly use the LCD. If I hadn't gotten this board for the same price as the G11 I would have bought that one instead.
Damn skippy! Holy crud is it every ugly. And orange for a backlight color? Yuck! Not only that, but they also have the nerve to charge more money for it than the rev1.
SaiTek EclipseII If your Gonna Play in the Dark Then you need to see the Keys!! Blue Red Purple or Off for day time use works Great and no hassles.
Saitek, nice glowy multicoloured back lit jobbie. No idea what its called. Looks da nutz and really feels nice to use, nice smooth keypresses. Very good.
Edit: Iamlakota's post, Ecplise II thats the one
I never really understood the point of backlighting in keyboards marketed towards enthusiasts. Do none of you guys with backlit keyboards know where the keys are without looking?
of course we do, but you're missing the point.
They look cool and you know it
Saitek Gamers keyboard, I won it in a contest and it serves me well
im useing a microsoft multimedia keyboard/mouse combo. probably one of the best ive ever used.
the only difference with mine is i pulled the ergonomic piece off.
Logitech "Internet 350 Keyboard" - My second Logitech keyboard in about 7 years.. just got it a few months ago. Got it because it is simple, and has the layout I like, with the quality I like. Goes nicely with the Logitech G3 mouse.
Newegg.com - Logitech 967740-0403 Black 104 Normal Keys 8 Function Keys USB Standard Internet 350 USB Keyboard - OEM
Raptor K1, best keyboard ever made. the other 55 are in cupboards.
