    Re:

Probably because AMD is better. :D

Currently, I have a 1.0 ghz, 850 mhz, and a 450 mhz AMD processor. I also have an i tel at like 200 mhz.

Where's the option for VIA processors? I have an 800 mhz C3 (which isn't too fast) around somewhere as well.

    MAD Or inlet

I have two of each...Like them for differing reasons...My Athlon @1533 (KT7A) kicks arse (and generates enough noise to drown out the noise of my neighbourhood at night (crack addicts genrally being ripped off shouting abuse) was wondering if i could use frying pan as heatsink and cook eggs...lol. P3 700@933(BE6v2r2) because its quiet when I want to use for sound & movie apps..other P133@233 because It never ever crashes(runs 24/7 365, used as firewall, router, dns, proxy, ntp, & advert blocking using ipcop based on linux redhat distro. The only box I haven't got clocked is K6II 400 which is in a tiny old dell optiplex box(was originally P90 Box)...running .net server(web & update server), never crashes, & also runs 24/7..Not sure what I'm going for next, don't like locked multiplyers that I can't sort out, so hoping MAD can remove finger from hole, and sort themselves out.on the other hand if inlet come out with something that can be unlocked, & stop contunially changing chip formats I may come back to inlet :)

OT: Hmm thinking about a solid copper frying pan .. desktop case with window in top red neons...oh wish i had some money to burn & build it just for novelty value, would have to use large shim and supports, and wouldn't be able to cook eggs (unless I went wrong somewhere)...lol

hey how's that C3 run heard they couldn't process themselves out of wet paper bag..but can run without heatsink...what do u think of it?

  8. on my b-day i am going to get a really nice new athlon xp, the best i can get.
