I just finished watching Extraterrestrial http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2960930/?ref_=nv_sr_2 What a fun movie! Considering the low budget too, very fun. I thought I knew where it was going and it managed to take my by surprise. Well worth watching, just make sure to skip on the trailer as it gives away way too much info. Don't get me wrong, this is not a superb film, but it is fun and it is what good B movies in the sci-fi genre should be. Avoid watching the trailer and any reviews.
Just came from the Movie Tavern where we saw Captain America: Civil War in 3D. Oh, and I got a Diet Coke and Carrot Cake served right to my seat.
The last one I watched was Equals. I didn't really like the movie but I loved Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult!
Star wars: The Force Awakens. Spoiler feel like I have seen a little bit of a mix of the originals in someway. And as Kylo Ren did not die I hope to see him back in the next film and to show maybe a little more of his turning to the dark side. Like to see more of Luke also.
Not a movie, a series. The expanse. It has been very seldom I have been so totally engrossed in what is happening on the screen that an hour has seemed so incredibly short. It's a shame only the first season is out. I have decided to read the books now. Highly recommend.
Watched Deadpool the other day in my room here at the hospital, and I thought it was a really good movie and well done. All my friends were getting on my back to watch it and I'm glad I did. For anyone that hasn't seen it already it is a must see. Very entertaining to say the least.
Just finished watching "Batman vs Superman" Dawn of Justice. By the way , I can't say that it is a masterpiece, but a bit good superhero movie.
I've been such an avid gamer that I've neglected the movie scene way too much! I saw the other day where Daniel Craig refused $100,000,000 to play Bond again. And, it dawned on me that I had not seen ANY of the Bond films in which he played Bond. So, I just finished Casino Royale. EDIT: Corrected
Not really his fault though... The last bond film was even worse than the other 2 combined. I don't know why the writers / directors are dead set on making it as action packed as possible..
I didn't even watch more than 10 mins of the last Bond film, I basically just stopped watching after that.
This is not one I watched "lately" but quite some time ago. It was made in 1967 and was directed by and starred Roman Polanski. I think it may have been out of circulation for quite some time due to the fact that one of the stars, Sharon Tate, was a victim of the Charles Manson murders. But, the movie is a spoof, not-to-be-taken-seriously on the popularity of the vampire movies. If you haven't seen it, it is available, in the full version on Amazon Prime and a few other movie sites. The Fearless Vampire Killers (or, Pardon Me, but Your Teeth are in my Neck)
I finally found the complete series online. I used to watch the series back in the day but the local tv station only showed like 7 episodes in repeat. So annoying but so common here. Anyway, I know that nostalgia plays a role in what I am about to say, but fuck it. This show is awesome!
Batman Vs Superman: Were always curious to why two super heroes from totally different locations were pitted against each other going by the trailers.. Now I know why, always thought there were some hidden agenda somewhere.. I watched it on Showbox last night and the quality of the stream is a little poor, so I will wait till it comes on to Blu-Ray to watch it again. . And secondly also finished Game of Thrones earlier in the week also, Simply can not wait to get season 6 on DVD..
