Watched the Live action Cinderella with the wife last night .... I will say no more

other than for a Disney film the effects were pretty ropey

Thats a pretty damn sweet list of women in film ... I like them all :)

Not a movie, a TV series. Person of Interest. I finished today watching the whole series for the first time. It took me a couple of weeks for all 5 seasons.
Man...What a series! I ended up actually caring for these characters.
    Just...wow.

Watched a film with Charlize theron called the Old Guard, essentially a superhero film with some very nice action sequences... not stunning but I have hopes for a sequel

I watched the trailer of it few days ago. It looked like a Marvel take on Highlander, only less interesting.

Thank you. Although I have to admit I found LXg one of the 3 top most boring movies of all time for my taste.

Yeah it missed the books by a mile but the casting and visuals were good and I did like their Mina Harker and Dorian Grey

I also watched The Old Guard and I loved it. What a wonderful movie, very much like HIghlander yes, but I think it was about time for a reboot. 8/10.

Watched The Main Event on Netflix and I rather enjoyed it, it is one of those family movies that can be enjoyed even if you're older. But still if you like wrestling, a good hero like story and wrestling (yes there is a kid with powers) then it is a great move. 8/10.

I watched The Old Guard - worth watching but not great. The 'woke' stuff was a bit grating. The action scenes were OK but felt very choreographed and similar. Some of the effects were well done, especially the regeneration stuff.

Looked like they were trying to set up a sequel but not sure if it will be popular enough to generate the interest. I don't think Charlize Theron has the presence to carry a franchise, she's a pretty average looking woman and is showing the signs of age now - still that could be part of the plot if they do make another one.

Yes from what I have heard the British is the funnier one, though of course it depends on if you like that type of humor. OR humour.
I have watched a couple of episode of each, years ago. I find the show too depressing to enjoy, but I can understand why so many people like them.

Yesterday I caught on TV (rare) a movie and decided to watch it. A Hologram for the King with Tom Hanks. The movie was...interesting in how mundane it was. There was plenty of teasing of more excitement, but that never came. Well, there were some nice tits shots near the end, always appreciated, but that's about it. Had its good moments yes, some chuckles here and there. But very very far from a masterpiece. It felt like a more boring version of Lost in Translation.
The acting was good, the photography (beautiful shots of Saudi Arabia which from what I understand almost all were never shot in S.A) ) was good.
A very average movie saved by Tom Hanks and some of the supporting actors.

Weird thing is, I would watch it again. I don't know why.

Haunt - A low budget but pretty decent extreme Haunted house film

Greyhound - WW2 submarine drama that should have been good but focused to much on the details of how its done not just getting it done .. looked beautiful though
