Last night we watched the Host its a horror movie that been made during the pandemic and its about a group of people having a seance over Zoom

Due to Zoom having a 50 minute session if you don't own pro the film is set at the length of a zoom session so it less than an hour overall

    its also surprisingly good

I just finished watching Steve Jobs. It was on TV. I wasn't planning on watching it, but I caught it as it was starting and decided to watch a few minutes. Ended up watching the whole thing.

Now I want to buy some type of Mac.
Joking of course as I can't even afford to buy a magic mouse.
Very good, feel good, movie. Different approach than I thought it would. Interesting take on the Macintosh. I am not sure I agree with certain things, but whatever, it was a movie.

    Yeah, definitely enjoyed it.

Not a movie, but a very entertaining fight.
I first heard of Marie Ruumet several months ago and saw in her great energy and passion I adore.
First pro fight in some time, but it was worth it.
Even though her opponent (Little Tiger) was totally disrespectful.

I watched The Wretched - decent horror that doesn't rely on jump scares. It's got an old school feel to it - a teenager gets a summer job at his dad's Marina by the sea and has to contend with girls, family issues, weird neighbours and evil spirits.

Blade Runner 2049 was on TV. Much better than I feared. Thankfully it also didn't ruin the first one, especially with anything that had to do with Deckard which was my main concern.
    A great movie.
Not as good as the first, but I am sure younger people who like this one will probably feel it is better.

It wasn't bad, but I didn't think it was great. I mean, I thought it was decent at best. I thought they could have done much more with it, but that's just my humble opinion.

I watched Batman vs Superman earlier tonight. It was on TV. Thankfully I forgot everything about that shitty trailer which gave away 95% of the plot.

Good movie. I know it received flak from fans, I don't know why, or care. I was never a huge fan of Batman (but still liked him), but I do love Superman. Very enjoyable movie, including the extra characters.

I watched Console Wars, a docu-movie about Sega vs. Nintendo back in the day. Very interesting, and I do recommend it to you guys.

I am still watching Farscape. I am near the end of the series. Just a few more episodes.
Man...what a series! Someone new to it might take a look at a couple of the aliens who are puppets and think it's a "kids show", but oh man how wrong they would be. There are plenty of dark scenes in the series, masterfully done. I watched an episode earlier which just absolutely made me feel bad. Hours later and I still feel shit.
    Well done!

Watched Night School and it was really funny, Kevin Hart is a really good comedian and I really enjoy his movies, recommended if you're into comedies. 9/10.

I started watching Warehouse 13 again. Last time it was when it was brand new on TV, but I only got to watch up to the end of the first season. Now on bluray I am already several episodes in season 2. I already knew I liked the series so no surprises there. It's fun, light hearted but also more violent that X-Files which was one of the series it was influenced by. So much fun to watch. One of the things I like the most about it is the connection between the characters/actors which shows on screen so good. The two main pairs are absolutely made for each other. All that with zero sexual tension. Fantastic work.
The stories are good, the special effects are not the best, but they are fine, only getting better.

I try to watch an episode a day, some times two, plus all the extras on the discs.
    Well worth it.

I finished watching Never Have I Ever and Sneakerheads in the space of one week on Netflix, I'm a binge watcher, once I like something I don't put it down till I've flogged it to death, I'm also on season 3 or 4 I think of The Worst Witch on Netflix.

And me and my girlfriend are watching Warrior Nun also on Netflix, we watch about 3 or 4 episodes (an arc) every Tuesday.

Watched The Hitman's Bodyguard, wonderful movie, very funny and action packed to boot. Samuel L. Jackson is truly a gifted actor. 10/10.

Watched Masterminds on Netflix, a fun ride, even if I didn't find it all that funny. Recommended if you've got nothing else to watch and some time to kill. 6/10.

    Snowpiercer. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1706620/
Good movie, reminded me (premise) of an old game, Transarctica.
Good acting, fighting scenes etc. Good movie as I said, but only if you are willing to not think too much. The story had too many gaps. I had problems especially with a few of things though, don't read more unless you don't mind the spoilers.

    1. For what must have been at least a couple of thousand of people, no toilets for most of them, no kitchens, plenty of room for bar, but no bedrooms. There were beds for the poor passengers, but nothing for the rest. No explanation given for the food other than a tiny place and a freezer which somehow had frozen meat (animals) in it which still remained with some food in it after so many years without fresh supplies. There was an out of nowhere, far too large to make sense, aquarium. Overall, the train should have been far far larger than shown both from the inside and the outside.
    Ruined the experience.

    2. The ending made no sense to me. Basically most of them got killed with that stupid move. Any survivors will surely die as there are no proper clothes for the extreme cold, even if it isn't as cold as it used to be. Polar bear surviving, which again makes no sense, doesn't mean 2 kids will manage to survive out there on their own, especially without supplies or weapons or anything. As the train was the last of humanity, this pretty much means the end of humanity because of those few "heroes" at the end. Disgusting.

@Trusteft Yeah, good 'ole Snowpiercer lol, I just liked the fish scene lol.

I watched Borat Subsequent Moviefilm on Amazon Prime Video and I have to say I wasn't impressed, the movie tried too hard to be funny, which it wasn't most of the time and basically it tried to be just like the other Borat movie instead of just doing it's own thing. 4/10.

The remake of Total Recall was on TV. Great sfx, good acting, photography awesome, fantastic sfx (yes twice), constant action piece after action piece.
    I dozed off 3 times.
Boring movie. Doesn't even come close to the original.
Not even in the same continent.
I give it a 3/5 and that because of Jessica Biel's ass. Else I would have to give it 2.5.
Don't get me wrong, I might watch it again, but man...how did they manage to make it boring?
    Impressive.

Watched Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters on Netflix, don't know how or why I missed this, but the action was clutch, definitely highly recommended to action buffs. It's a bit of a gore show, a bit, not excessively like some other shows (*cough* The Boys *cough*) and some might not like the scarish/horror like qualities it has but other than that, 9/10.
