The Tomorrow War with Chris Pratt ...forget the science forget the logic and enjoy the ride this is a fun Sat night beer movie with some excellent monster design and well crafted action sequences, you will go "hang on a minute why dont they just...." quite a few times but ignore it this is a fun film.
Transformers 3 on TV. First time. The movie was fine, better than the previous two as far as I am concerned. The fighting scenes were much better as this time you could make out what you were watching. Also it was not vomit inducing. The acting was better than the previous two movies. The Megan Fox replacement was better at her acting, though her script was just terrible. I mean, seriously terrible. The story was fine, unrealistic of course, but fine. The two weakest links in the movie were for me the dialogue between/among the humans and the stupid stupid stupid idea of the TV station to show in upcoming movie snippets in the right side of the screen, during some of the most interesting parts of the movie. Especially one near the end which was absolutely epic camera work + CGI. Just so stupid. Obviously not the fault of the movie, but still annoying. Anyway, very enjoyable and perhaps the first transformers movie I want to own on blueray.
Went back to watch the original series of Star Trek. Episode 3 of the first season. Spooky at times, a good episode. Not a great one, but it was fun to watch. Sexist dialogue at times made it cringey. A teen or 20s today watching it for the first time will probably start an internet petition to ban the series, or faint.
....not sure how you reached that conclusion from my post, but ok...when the series is completed, I will.
It is, or did you miss what I said? 2 seasons and done. Short and sweet. There are NO more episodes coming out for it. None, zero, zilch.
It could easily be taken either way. At least if read properly, which I didn't. Thanks for the info. When I have spare money and is released on blu-ray I will consider it.
I rarely am moved to tears, but the final episode was so emotional, I almost cried, almost being the key word here. It was that good. And as you know the Mandalorians are the natural enemy of the Jedi, so it is an interesting story to be sure.
I did not know the Mandalorians are the natural enemy of the Jedi. I am not sure how I should have known that. Was it in the original trilogy or at least the prequels?
First of all, as Mr Cairo mentioned and I just checked at IMDB, there is going to be a 3rd season. Second, why did you link that to me? At what point in that page does it say where the Mandalorians were mentioned as the enemies of the Jedi in the first 6 movies? I am beginning to believe you do not actually check the info you pass as info more than the title. Tsk tsk tsk. Stop doing Judaisms. It doesn't always work.
The Mandalorians and Jedi fought for many many thousands of years, until the Jedi finally laid waste to their home planet in the final war. "I know these commandos fought in many wars, often against the Jedi." ―Obi-Wan Kenobi, on the Mandalorians[src] "For generations, my ancestors fought proudly as warriors against the Jedi." ―Pre Vizsla[src] I like how you never read. And btw, Beskar, the armor the Mandalorians wear can NOT be cut by almost nothing, including a light saber.
The next episodes are going to be about Boba Fett, Mando may or may not be in them. If you watched all the way to the end of the last episode, after the credits there is even an easter egg hinting at this.
