aside from definitely cringey parts or woke comments that i think were more tongue in cheek than they were serious.. hard to tell.. it was certainly enjoyable.

I rather enjoyed it, I think it raised some real questions about future AI.

Edit: I also watched Lazarus, it was good too, lower budget, but not too low. 7/10.

Last night was the new Candyman film and I as a massive fan of Tony Todd and the first film , I like the 2nd and like most think the 3rd was a disappointment, but this new film was just crap and the desperate attempts to tie it to the first 3 are lacklustre at best.. some nice visuals and its always great to see Nathan Stewart Jarett (SP) doing well in America but overall 2 outta 10

Also watched the new M Night Shamalyan film Old and also found that to be lacking with some questionable moral ethics that as a parent i found more than a little off putting.

    disappointing night movie wise :(

You should check out the new Mortal Kombat movie, it was actually what the original should have been in hindsight. The original just didn't have the budget though, and is still a classic in my eyes.

TV, (technically streamed it from the stations site at the same time as it was aired) the movie Equalizer 2. Never seen the first one.

Good movie. Not perfect or anything, but a solid 7/10 perhaps a bit more.

Pissed off that in the final battle I missed the end of it as the stream just stopped working for some reason.

Anyway, worth watching, I am a fan of Denzel Washington as he is one of my favorite actors.
I have to watch the first movie too.

I liked one of the other actors, I can't remember his name now, I think he was one of the main actors in Wonder Woman 1984 (another movie I have to watch). I think he is from Chile. The camera loves him.

You have to mean Pedro Pascal..... damn fine actor :)

Just back from seeing Saints of Newark in the cinema and as much as I loved the Sopranos this is a solid MEH! from me.

Equalizer 2 was decent but nothing amazing. The Equalizer was awesome, much better than it's sequel.

I watched the final of the new Dave Chapel stand up comedy series that came to Netflix, The Closer, not as good as the others, but some funny moments. 6/10.

new Halloween film ... sorry to say I didn't think it was that good at all with some dodgy dialogue, very bad character decisions and poor acting, especially looking at you Anthony Michael Hall.
