I watched No Time To Die Yesterday just to be left a little confused.... Loved the Action, The twist between the separate 007's etc, but i may need to take a time out & watch it again this coming weekend. I just simply do not get the ending!
I finally watched the new Ghostbusters movie, loved it! The nostalgia! Oh my! Whoever said soft reboots are bad doesn't know what they are talking about, I just love soft reboots!
Eternals... aside from one event that is certainly a roll eyes situation, i thought it was pretty solid on it's own merits, Considering the theater situation, it appears that hollywood or the film industry is completely unaware of the situation. Sure they can point to the likes of the new spiderman blowing up at the box office, but i wouldn't be surprised if 25% of their potential viewer counts was completely missing. I for one can't go into a theater due to the idiotic mandates and stipulations, so i can't see it yet, much like eternals or any other.
Eternals as well, I rather enjoyed it, but I was left wanting for more by the ending. Otherwise I give it an 8/10, not bad at all.
Eternals .... thought it was a good film but not a good MCU film in all honesty I felt like I was watching a knockoff Justice League film it definitely had a darker tone and having Harry Styles in the MCU is a worry Blade and The Blacknight though i am looking forward to them. Eternals did also reinforced my long firm belief that Salma Hayek Can Not Act
Now i liked the Jupiters Legacy graphic novel but thought the TV show was awful the back and forth in time structure did not help at all
I watched The Secret Society of Second Born Royals, and oh my, I thought Disney was in the business of making great movies now, with really good special effects, but I'd be surprised if they spent over 100 bucks on the special effects of this movie; now I know it was aimed at teens, but I don't mind a live action movie aimed at kids that is either an action or sci fi flick, but this movie wasn't just poor acting and effects, it was pablumy to the nth degree, so so so dry, during the middle of the movie it totally loses all direction and you could tell they didn't really know what to do with that part of the movie to get it to line up with the way they wanted to end it. Worst movie I have seen in a LOOOONG time. And I am very lenient when it comes to the quality of movies, but this one, this one was terribad. 1/10.
Just watched the Kings Man, we loved the first thought the second was pretty ok but this was very disappointing
I watched the first 3 quarters of The King's Man - not terrible but not anywhere near as entertaining as the original Kingsman. I'll watch the rest mid-week. Gemma Arterton's Yorkshire accent was bad and her character pretty tedious as the battleaxe, no-nonsense whahman.
