I know Trusteft is a youtuber. Maybe he has something to add, but as for myself I've never delved into youtubing before although a lot of my friends have said to me that I should. And I know a couple of friends that do.

I'd venture into it if i hadn't such shit internet.... it's pretty sad when the lowest streaming option available is still 2-5x higher than the maximum upload bandwidth available on the fastest connection i can get.

Mousey, why isn't there a link to your youtube channel? Talk about missing opportunity to promote your own channel :p

To make it in youtube, financially, you have to take this as any other private enterprise. You have to be good at what you do, you have to provide something that none else provides. IF not, you better have some huge ass charisma to try to gain viewers. Luck is also needed.
Unless you are a one or two off videos blind luck success, you are going to have to provide content to your viewers on regular basis. Not just whenever you feel like it. It's a job, not a hobby. And all that do not guarantee success. You might be good, smart, funny, with content to much, and still never ever make it. That's life on youtubeland.

Now, if you don't do it for the money, you obviously don't need any of the above. If you are doing it mostly to have fun, good for you.

Not sure if you're joking Trusteft but I don't think the poor guy can do any site pimping as it's against the rules. :p

Besides he has a link to his Youtube channel in his sig. ;)

I think I'm already stretching the rules to breaking point linking to my blog and having the link in my sig :D

But yeah I get your point, I need to link up the DL sites and softwares a bit better
