WTF happened ? D: thats...ouch....no word to define pain..
OMG!! sadly that isn't the only one of its kind to randomly go up in flames .
Glue caused the fire. More info here:
BBC News - Ferrari recalls Italia cars after reports of fires
Thanks for the info, I missed they'd issued a recall. best get on to my dealership...
I love the conveniant placement "The For Sale Sign" that is...
Its been that long i forgot what a 2cv looked like
they are just smashing and I love the noisy grinding little buggers on the cobblestone, I grew fond of them
Hey Jeff, is that a concept vehicle?
Nissan Leaf. Pure electricity
I hate the looks of the "Eco" cars.... everyone i have seen is so Damned ugly i would not consider one... The Nissan Leaf is a prime example..
Secondly the price is incredibly high.. I think in the uk the LEAf is around £28,000...
Even the Nissan Micra (City run around) from new starts at £8,000 and is very economical...
Theses are only aimed at the most Eco Freindly people...
Some ECO cars are closer to £80.000
Actually these are aimed at the very rich who think it's a status thing to be seen driving an "eco-friendly" car. The few cars released that could be optioned as a hybrid were miserable failures because they looked "normal"....... The look of these cars is as far out there as possible so everybody knows they (the driver) is something special. These people don't give a rat's azz about Eco.... but it's now status to appear that they are...
The truly eco-continuous can't afford these cars either.
Same thing imo...Most of them are status... (And i did mean the Rich Eco Types btw)
But nothing more than people i see in life... I see many with £70K Range Rover sports as the local School Runner...
Ive seen them all.
Did you know that a Prius is one of the least eco friendly cars you can buy? It's to do with the environmental costs of its manufacture, import and disposal. The best thing you can do to have an eco friendly car is to keep the one you already have on the road.
On a slightly different note, here's my dream car:
@Anomeus: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8Nfvr4iWeQ&feature=related [stock RR sport on the same incline, and down again!]
Edit: I made this post before I saw Calandor's. Good taste sir!
Thank you! I just wish Jeff would tell me if that Mercedes was a concept or not lol.
I didn't realize the Leaf is very expensive! Still, I do believe an EV car is the way to go. Haven't you noticed how every major manufacturers are touting hybrids? I read somewhere that in 2015 (4 years from now!) world oil supply will be substantially lower, therefore increasing gas prices. Uh-oh.
@blibbax -- AWESOME RR!
I can tell by just looking at it that it's a concept. No Way a car will go on the road like that.
But then, I might be wrong. haha
Stirling Moss special edition, don't know how many they made, think the price was 1mil+
EDIT: Just 75 made, built by hand
I don't like the sound, it's like it's misfiring or something...
