Spending it with Sinjin. It's our first christmas together
Same as every year.....get a year older.
Bro is coming home for christmas,
You poor girl! We'll all be thinking of you at this stressful time!
somewhere along the way i lost the christmas spirit...going to give kwanza a try this year.
my gift to each and everyone of you...
Thanks sinjin. We didn't know you cared.
WOrking upto and including CHistmas eve, then christmas with the family and then off to spend some time with the girlfriend for a few days, as she lives about 240miles away. Off to see her this weekend as well, need some TLC as I'm full of flu, the drive down could be interesting as i can't stop sneezing lol. So if anyone happens ot be on the M1, M42 or M5 this evening and sees a silver proton swerving around a lot, its just me! heh
now that's a santa......
Truely that's one way of keeping kids from want christmas to ever come...... no worries on the gifts...
Usually this is a wonderful time for me and the family. However this year there are some great burdens on us with my fathers sickness.
That being said I will still make the most of every moment I have left with him and give my kids the same wonderful christmas they have every year. They need not know of the sad things happening. The holidays to me are aways about spening time with my immediate family and catching up with some distant relatives to let them know they still are loved and thought about.
I know I probably sound like a downer but I am human. Regardless of what happens I still will happily trim the tree, Wrap the kids gifts with a smile and tell all my friends and family I love them and Merry christmas!
Todd, I know very well what you're going through. We went through this with my Dad 3 years ago. He had been having serious health problems for months and months. Even had surgery the summer before. Just 3 weeks before Christmas, we found out he had inoperable cancer. I hope your experience has a happier ending.
At any rate, you and your family, are in my thoughts and prayers.
Thank you Dyre, but unfortunately my father has about the same thing. He has Cancer in his lungs and brain. He has gone downhill very fast and just this week they gave him 2 weeks. So it is tough but we will make it through like always. Thanks for your prayers bud!
Regardless this is to me what the season is about and that is loving our friends and family. If anything this ordeal has certainly made that even stronger in my mind. To all of you cherish and treasure your friends and family and have a Merry Christmas and make the most of this special time of year.
My dad just died of cancer, need to get my mum through christmas, not coping very well. :tears:
poor bunny :tears:
Very, very sorry to hear this. My heart goes out to you and your family. :tears: :tears:
Thank you guys.
Christmas can be very painful for those who have lost loved ones! My own mother died shortly after Christmas almost 10 years ago and it is still a painful memory.:sigh: For all those going through hard times my thoughts are with you and your families!
My thoughts and prayers go out to those who's loved ones are going through a rough time.
Todd, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I have been lucky to have only lost one member of my family. It was my step-dad's dad. He was a great man and I still miss him greatly.
I send you my best to get through it. I had a similar experience at the beginning of this year and know how hard it can be on a family. Stay strong and you will get through the hard times. Best Wishes.
