where is Virtual Machine (java) in winXP???

    each time I install winXP, I have to go back and put on virtual machine separately!! MS doesn't even offer it anymore yet a LOT of web pages use it! What is MS's deal on this one?? I mean you can't even enter java IRC here without VM!! :mad: Why'd they drop it? and who is offering updates/latest versions of it??? arrgghh!

    I believe it was a court ruling that made Microsoft take the VM out of XP. You can get it still via Windows Update, but you have to search through older updates for VM to actually get the XP version.

    VM will be included in SP2, and VM was court mandated to be in Windows within 120 days or so :D Connect the dots...

    Yeah, but the chances are that it's going to be Suns JVM unless MS can make their one 100% java compliant

    just install sunjava... or there are many sites that have it uploaded .....just gotta do some diggin to find it now:evil: :evil:
