    Foobar2000 FO SHO YO!

    Hehe.

First program I ever used was Real Jukebox (haha), that was a longgg tiem ago. Anyways, moved to Winamp 2, which was pretty good. Stuck with that a couple years, moved to Winamp 3, and I liked it more than 2. Tried 2 again, hated it. So then on driverheaven (here) I saw the ad for foobar. Took about 5 seconds of getting used to the simple GUI of Foobar2k, customized colors and everything, and now I love it!

Won't be moving to any other program for awhile.

(BTW, fb2k is only for music, WMP for video files)

Foobar2000 :).... I never liked Winamp 3.... Winamp 2 was good, but I like Foobar because its lighter and is being constantly developed upon, whereas the winamp crew is concentrating more on Winamp 3 (not that winamp 2 has anything wrong with it).

I like foobar, as it will play stereo x 2 so I can use my back speakers. When I use the winamp or others - I have to get the sound card (audigy 2) to decode the music into 5.1 sound (to use the back speakers) and I prefer the original mixing as done in studio.

I don't like it because it still doesn't support Unicode (which is needed for international song titles and characters).

But modern skin looks very cool.

I use MusicMatch 7.5 for my MP3's. I have always used MusicMatch....since I have an OFFICIAL serial key for it and all. I have all my tunes tagged up with it...works well with the AudioTron. <- neat little gadget to play your MP3's on a REAL stereo system right out of the PC's harddrive) :) Works for me.
I didn't like version 8 of MusicMatch, they want you to pay more money for a new key....at least the last time I checked they did. BOOOO! I was supposed to have a lifetime key.
