    I have received the card today, the package probably suffered some rough handling, but the card itself is well protected inside the box:

    Here it is next to my HD4850. The 5870 is huge (and heavy).

    And finally, installed and ready to go. I had to remove the analog conection cable beween my TV tuner (the card above the 5870) and audio card, but I don't use it anyway...

    Another thing I had to remove is the air duct (or whatever it is called), which cannot be set in place because of the power connectors/cables on the card...

    Here is a quick OpenCL benchmark using Luxmark.
    HD4850

    Mafia 2 benchmark showed about 100% framerate increase.

    So now I just need a few more displays :)

    I would take a pic of the 6870 but my camera is rubbish :p

    I will try tomorrow though :)

    It came very well packaged as well, massive box for a small card but it kept it well protected :D

    Just tried to set the fan speed to 100% in CCC and I almost fell of my chair :lol: I wish I could install the Accelero with the 12 cm fan on the card. It is by far the loudest component in my PC, even in 2d mode.

    Congratulations to you two!

    The AC-Accelero would be really good on such cards^^.
    maybe i buy the Accelero EXTREME plus for my ASUS EAH6870, cos it gets freaky loud at:
    voltage: 1.35V
    clock: 1000 MHz
    memory: 5000MHz

    TO THE X-TREME!! btw: the Freezer 13 is very silent on my 1090T @ 4.1GHz x 6
