Im not a FPS on console perason I firmly believe they belong on a mouse/Keyboard I use my Ps4 mainly for 3rd and side scrolling so just for recommendation I would suggest

    Assassins Creed Syndicate
    Arkham Knight
    Infamous 2
Last of Us remastered (play it again)
Until Dawn (best scary game I have ever played)
    Mad max

and for sheer fun fun fun little big planet

Dyre, if you're into car racing games, nothing beats Gran Turismo on the Playstation. I believe Gran Turismo 7 is coming out sometime this year.

If you're into fighting games (and anime), I just love the new Guilty Gear Xrd Sign that I got recently, also Tekken is just excellent, Tekken 7 should be coming out in the next few months too. The new Street Fighter comes out in February.

I made a trip up to Fry's after the Emory appointment today hoping to get a proper DP->HDMI 2.0 60Hz adapter for the PC. They didn't have one. But, I needed an additional CAT-5 cable and also picked up Watch Dogs for PS4 while there.

Yeah Watch Dogs is a fun game, 'specially if you were into any of the GTA games. Nice one.

Calliers asked me my impression of the PS4 vs. the XBOX One. I'm reserving a final determination until I have more experience with it. Since I do have the XBOX One...and previously had the XBOX 360, the years of experience using the 360 Controller allows me to use it almost like it's 2nd nature. In fact, I use a wired 360 controller to play PC games if the game supports it. (In the past, if a game didn't natively support the controller, I would use XBCD to make it so. :) )

The controller for the PS4 is giving me some initial problems due to the difference in its configuration. To me, the D-Pad is just simply in the wrong place. ;) But, so far, that's really the only downside of playing on the system. The thumbsticks, though, do seem to be a bit more responsive vs. the Xbox. Due to this, I've sent Nate, in Uncharted, off into the depths of death more times than I care to remember!!! :)

So, while I'm enjoying the experience of all three worlds, my first love is still with the PC. Support for Eyefinity, support for 4K, and personal preference customization is still a big win for the PC.

Finished Uncharted: Drake's Fortune last morning. Excellent game!

Started up Watch Dogs on the PS4. Spending a lot of time hacking cameras and stealing people's money. :)

Have you missed that the PS4 bundle which includes all three games of the series..

    Part two: Uncharted: Among Thieves

I think he's just taking a break from Uncharted and going with Watch Dogs for now. Also Uncharted 4 will be coming out later this year.

I specifically stated: Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is finished. :) I did get the 3-game bundle and, as Callier stated, I'm taking a bit of a break from the series.

I were just curious, (I were not implying that you did not know it were a 3 game download) more to know if you were going to continue with the game.

Its because it sort of continues on from the first and so on. Among Thieves and Drakes fortune are better than Drakes Fortune.

Will you be getting Uncharted 4 at all?

The way Dyre plays games I have a feeling he will definitely be getting Uncharted 4. Also remember he has no choice but to play and love them because his grandson does. :p

Probably is the case, But as I have said before A gamer is a gamer for life. There is only a very small handful in my family who plays video games.

Me at 42 and still play at least something every day.
My Brother in law: 58 and plays a few games but not regular
My nephew who is 7, Everytime he sees me he want to go on my PS. And the way he reacts to games when he has achieved a new way through on a couple of games (Has tried Rise of Tomb Rader (on XBone) and uncharted) is the look on his face is priceless. And when he scores and wins on Fifa I think he is going to be like me,

The rest of the family think Games are for Kids anfd think were nuts.

Any way, A question for Dyre.

Is it to early to say which system you prefer the PS4 or Xboxone, as you have said before that you have always been a Xbox user ?

You know, I've been thinking, and I don't think Dyre wants to admit he likes the Xbox One more than the PS4 and that is why he always hides behind the PCMR thing lol.

Here's an update on my impressions and opinions on the XBOX vs. PS4 situation now that I've had the PS4 for a few months.

FWIW, as far as the consoles themselves go, it's difficult to say which one would be my own personal choice as a favorite. But one thing ... so far ... that the PS4 has over the XBOX is that I can plug in a flash drive and transfer my screenshots/videos very easily from the PS4. So, that's one big PLUS for that system over the XBOX.

BUT, I really and truly love the XBOX Controller much more than the PS4 controller. I can handle both of them but the PS4 controller's very small options button and the other one on the left give me fits. I wish they had a bit more texture or were raised just a slight amount to allow me to actually feel them rather than having to look at the controller so I don't accidentally press the large center bar along with either of them. For my part, the XBOX controller is as near perfect as they come.
