    Hi, I just re-installed win98se.

Now I have the latest directx (90a?) and the latest stable (3528debug) kx drivers.

I cant get the driver to work in Directsound or ASIO.

If I turn off all hw acceleration in DxDiag, Directsound works, but the latency is really bad.

I've used the kx drivers for years successfully, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrng this time. Is it the dx version???

    Help

Um you didn't installed your Live drivers did you? You need unstalled your live drivers then installed your KX drivers. Did you try your 98SE hot fix that came with the drivers? Whats your system specs?

Well, as I said, I've been using the kx drivers on win98se for ages. Also on my win2k pc. The poblems showed up after installing a fresh dx90a. I never installed any sblive drivers om the hd.

You can try pop in and out on your sound card. Like in freash installed. You might want clean out your pc for dust once while you might be surpize how dirty you system gets if you haven't open up for long time

why you using 3528. It´s old.
Try 3533 first, see if it helps. (But I dont have DirectX 9 so I don´t really know...)
