So will I just be able to do an upgrade from 10 to 11 or will this be a clean reinstall only.

If your PC passes their requirements check, you'll be able to perform an upgrade. If it doesn't, you should be able to do a clean install.

I don't think a clean install will bypass the requirements.

Yeah apparently it will clean install on lots of systems that fail the check they will just have no support afterwards

I hope now that my ancient useless CPU is not supported (i7 5960X), at least I will not be flooded by windows pushing w11 to me.

Recently installed it on my friends rig who met all requirements except TPM. Followed this, and bam.. worked like a charm:

How to bypass the Windows 11 TPM 2.0 requirement

Now if only I could get it to bypass the CPU requirement so that it'd work on 4xxx series Intel.

I haven't tried this, but the method at 6:10 should work, I think (although this was done with a preview version, the tool and command had existed for all the previous Windows versions).

Thanks to the link Judas posted I am all installed and it was easy

Only thing I would like now is a more Windows 10 style start menu other than that it seems pretty decent ..... time to play

    OK couple of thoughts

No longer just right click desktop and find AMD CCC now its right click slide down to more options click that see old style menu and there it is

No longer able to pin shortcuts to Documets (not Apps) that I use regularly on the taskbar .. have a word doc that I use everyday that used to be pinned cannot do this ...yet

not sure why pinned apps and all apps are now on separate menus both on one page like win 10 would be easier

none of my USB drives auto open to explore anymore

small niggles TBH but so far its pretty nice
