    I just saw the thread this morning. At a glance, I'd say I'd go for Multicommander as well. It looks well polished, but it also seems faithful to the classic Norton Commander concept. :)

    It's great. There are only two things I wished it had.
    1) When moving/copying files and it detects "identical" images, thumbnails of them should be provided.
    2) When you type something in the search/filter field, you can't one click erase what you typed (for example you found and moved the files now you are looking at an empty panel. You have to manually delete it with the backspace key, would be nice to have an icon next to it to erase the field.

    Otherwise, I like it a lot. I am keeping it. It does have similarities with NC. :)

    My first thought when I saw it was DirectoryOpus 4.
