I've been getting very tired of the current set of headphones I'm using on my computer. They are wired and the wire catches on every little corner of my desk. I'm using a pair of over-ear Sennheiser headphones. I want to get something wireless, but don't know what is good and what is better, if you know what I mean. So I'm looking for some recommendations. o_O

Whats the main purpose. Gaming? Music? Movies? All? (and do you need it to have a good mic)

Some gaming, mostly music and movies. microphone is not a necessity. Have been looking recently at the Sennheiser RS 160 and the RS 170. Only thing I'm having trouble determining is whether they will work with my PC and onboard sound from the motherboard I use.

Seems like you already know what to get. I see no reason why the RS160/170 wouldnt work with your onboard sound. It connects via a 3.5mm jack...
